How does usage-based pricing work?
Essentials includes a monthly allowance of queries and pages imported, sized by a slider. A query covers one message back and forth; each page imported covers approximately one page of content. If you need more, move the slider up at any time.
Can I try Stark Chat for free?
Yes! You can sign up and start a free trial with no credit card required. The trial includes an allowance of queries and page imports so you can build knowledge bases, connect your sources, and test everything in the dashboard preview — upgrade when you are ready to publish.
What happens if I exceed my plan limits?
We'll notify you as you approach your limits, and you can move your plan up a step at any time. Running out of one does not affect the other—running out of queries pauses messages but not ingestion, and vice versa. Usage resumes when your plan renews.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes. You can move the slider up or down at any time from your account settings. Changes take effect immediately — you're charged the new price and your monthly billing cycle restarts from that date.
